Panadol For Children Suspension 120mg/5ml 60ml (Strawberry) is used for the relief of fever, aches and pain of flu, discomfort of teething, toothache and fever after vaccination.
Dosage and Directions For Use:
For an accurate dosing, weigh your child and work out the dosage based on a 15mg of Paracetamol for every kg body weight (15mg/kg):
Body weight 4-5kg: 2.5mL.
Body weight 6-7kg: 3.5mL.
Body weight 8-9kg: 5mL.
Body weight 10-11kg: 6mL.
Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 60mg/kg to be administered in divided doses of 10-15mg/kg thoughout the 24 hour period.
Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hour period.
Use as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Cautions:
Do not use if your child is allergic to paracetamol.
Allergy alert: Paracetamol may cause severe skin reactions. Symptoms may include skin reddening, blisters and rash. If these reactions occur, stop use and seek medical assistance right away.
Do not use this medicine if your child is taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicines containing paracetamol to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu, or to aid sleep.
Do not take any other paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time.
